BRONX, N.Y.  – Set for four competitions in September and October, Fordham University Golf Head Coach Gary Murphy has unveiled the Fall slate of tournaments for his squad in 2025.

The Maroon and White take to the course for their first competition of the campaign Sept. 7-9, with a short trip to White Plains for the Metropolis Intercollegiate at Metropolis Country Club. Last season’s tournament (Oct. 28-29, 2024) was held at Montclair Golf Club in New Jersey, which saw Fordham claim second place out of 11 teams, led by now former Ram, Jake Mrva who claimed the tournament’s individual title.

Two weeks later, the Rams head to the historic Wethersfield Country Club in Connecticut for the Ryan T. Lee Memorial Invitational, Sept. 21-23. A 15-team tournament, the Rams will take on some of the top competition in the Northeast, in a tournament “dedicated to honoring the enduring spirit of a special young man by actively seeking out opportunities to make a difference in the lives of others. The Foundation is committed to identifying effective ways to help individuals reach their goals and realize their dreams.”

A handful of days later, Fordham heads up to Lake Placid, N.Y. for the Columbia Autumn Invitational, Sept. 26-28. The Maroon and White finished sixth on the Links Course at Lake Placid Golf Club two seasons ago, with a pair of Rams placing in the top-15 individually.

From there, the Rams will have nearly a month-long break before their final action of the fall, Oct. 26-28 for the Wykagyl Collegiate, hosted by Iona in New Rochelle at Wykagyl Country Club.

More information on the 2025-26 schedule will be announced in the coming weeks, including tee times and full entry lists for the Rams’ four Fall tournaments. Stay tuned to FordhamSports.com and the Fordham Golf social channels for updates.
