BRUNSWICK, Ga. – For the second consecutive season, Madelyn Taylor has been named the Sun Conference Champion of Character for her performances on and off the course.
“Madelyn has done many volunteer hours coaching summer junior golf camps in and near her hometown,” said head coach Nicole Johns. “She has helped with vacation bible school at her local church and other youth programs. Madelyn has volunteered at the RSM & Jones Cup. She is apart of the FCA Leadership Team here at Coastal GA. When Hurricane Helene came through and damaged her childhood home she still went out and fed the lineman that had been working constantly to restore power to her community. She always thinks of others first. Madelyn makes a great team leader.”
The Mariners have now won every SUN champion of character award for women’s golf since the 2017-18 season.
