The No. 1-ranked Keiser men’s golf team travels to Silvis, Illinois, for the 73rd Annual NAIA Men’s Golf National Championship (May 20-23). The Seahawks will be one of 29 teams vying for this year’s title in a field that features 22 of the 25 squads listed in the Final NAIA Men’s Golf Coaches’ Top 25. This year’s National Championship will be played at TCP Deere Run (Par 71, 7,091) and will also include 11 individual qualifiers to bring the total number of golfers to 156.
After two full rounds have been completed, the field will be cut, reducing the field to the top 15 teams (plus ties) and six individuals who have not already made the cut with their teams (plus ties).
Keiser won the 2021 NAIA National Championship and will be looking for its second all-time this week. With seven top-2 finishes this season, Keiser enters this week’s action with an overall record of 82-4-1 versus NAIA schools this season.
Last time out, Keiser tallied the program’s fourth Sun Conference Championship on Tuesday, winning this year’s tournament by a dominant 17 strokes. The Seahawks shot under-par on all three days to finish the week with a 14-under, 850. Trailing the Seahawks were (rv) St. Thomas (+3) and No. 19 Southeastern (+3) followed by No. 11 Coastal Georgia (+5) and (rv) Webber Int’l (+12).
The win was Keiser’s fourth of the season as the Seahawks improved to 82-4-1 versus NAIA teams during the 2024-25 season.
Adam Buchanan won the first tournament of his career, shooting an 8-under, 208. The Sun Conference medalist honor was just the second for the Seahawks all-time (Javier Neira Garcia – 2022). Buchanan shot under par on Par 5s and Par 4s to maintain his lead all three days. The first-year Seahawk has now posted four top-5 finishes this season. William Brun Solum used a tournament-best, 6-under, 66, during the third and final round to place tied for third (3-under, 213).

4. Nateesh Ganesh – Fr. / Malacca, Malaysia
Named to the All-Sun Conference Team, Ganesh has record three top-5 finish of the season, including two tournament wins. Ganesh has tallied an adjusted scoring average of 71.2 and ranks No. 11 in the nation (clippd)
5. Iver Sokhan-Sanj – Fr. / Lorenskog, Norway
Sokhan-Sanj will be making his seventh appearance of the season for the Seahawks. He has recorded an adjust scoring average of 73.7

Murray, an All-Sun Conference honoree, has appeared in six events for the Seahawks with two top-10 finishes this season. He comes into this week’s action with an adjusted scoring average of 71.8 and is ranked No. 41 in the nation (clippd)

Michael has appeared in one event for the Seahawks this season, placing No. 19 at the Kona Ice Keiser Kup (March 9-11)
