ABOUT CHATTANOOGA GOLF
First Look: Spring stop No. 2 is here. The Chattanooga Mocs head south to the Gators Invitational at Mark Bostick Golf Club at the University of Florida. The event was originally set for the full weekend; however, looming weather had the organizers switch the format.
The field plays 36 holes on Friday before the final 18 on Saturday. It’s the sixth entry in the event for the Mocs, but the first since 2013.

Notes
- First trip back to the Gators since 2013. Coach Colette Murray took five of her first six teams there when she re-started the program in 2007-08. The best finish was fourth in 2010 behind medalist Emma de Groot.
- Fernandez-Tagle is 7 over for the season (71.87 average). Career average is 72.52 through 15 events. Both the season and career numbers are new school records as they currently stand.
- Fernandez-Tagle is 11 under over her last 72 holes (69.00 avg).
- Fernandez-Tagle 6 under at the Westbrook Invite was a career best vs par. She also shot 210 (-3) at the 2024 Spring Break Shootout.
- Cooper, Fernandez-Tagle, Healey & Foresta have started every tournament of their Chattanooga careers.
- Cooper has two career wins – 2023 Evie Odom & 2024 Chris Banister. A third win would make her the fourth Moc with three or more in their career: Emma de Groot ’11 (6), Dorota Zalewska ‘ 23 (4) & Emily McLennan ’16 (3).
