COLUMBIA, S.C. — The 2025 Arnold Palmer Cup will tee off June 6-8 at the Congaree Golf Club in Ridgeland and current South Carolina head women’s golf coach Kalen Anderson will serve as co-head coach for Team USA.
She will be working with Auburn’s head men’s golf coach Nick Clinard in this event which uses a Ryder Cup style format among the top men’s and women’s university/college golfers matching the United States against a team of International players. The Palmer Cup is the only major tournament that features men and women playing side-by-side as partners.
Anderson is the first coach in Gamecock golf history to be named head coach for either side in the event.
Under her guidance, South Carolina has had six Arnold Palmer Cup selections most recently highlighted by the senior All-American duo of Hannah Darling (Scotland) and Louise Rydqvist (Sweden) for Team International last summer in Ireland.
In her 18 seasons at the helm of the USC program, Anderson has led the Gamecocks to 27 tournament wins, five NCAA Regional titles and 13 NCAA Championship appearances with a pair of top-five wins. The four-time SEC Coach of the Year has guided USC to four consecutive NCAA Championship appearances with a T-5th finish in 2023 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.
