Terriers Tie For 10th at Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Boston University women’s golf team tied for 10th at the Princeton Invitational, which took place at Springdale Golf Club on Saturday and Sunday.

BU posted a plus-64 916 for the tournament with scores of 308 and a season-best 294 on Saturday before closing with a 314 on Sunday. The Terriers tied with FDU for 10th in the 13-team field. The host Tigers won the tournament at 851 (-1) with runner-up Rutgers nine strokes back.

Junior Amy Han shook of an opening round 77 with back-to-back 1-over rounds of 71 to finish tied for 14th at plus-8 (221). She moved up 18 spots on Sunday with a round that included four birdies.

Senior Annika Manjunath was the Terriers’ best performer on Saturday with rounds of 73 and 74 but carded an 81 in Sunday’s final round to finish tied for 40th at plus-15 (228). 

Freshman Wendy Li finished with a score of 232 (80-73-79) to tied for 51st at plus-19 while classmate Sophia Zhang was four strokes back at 23-over (78-75-82–235), tying for 60th.

Junior Hibiki Adachi shot a 243 (83-78-82) to place 71st at 31-over. 

The Terriers will close out their fall schedule at the UAlbany Great Danes Invitational on Oct. 12-13 at Normanside Country Club in Delmar, N.Y.
