PULLMAN, Wash. – The Pacific men’s golf program steadied the course on the final round, locking down a third-place finish on Wednesday at the Palouse Collegiate, hosted Washington State at Palouse Ridge Golf Club.
The Tigers (-28/824) maintained their position from the opening day, claiming its first top three finish of the 2025 campaign. Host Washington State and Santa Clara were only schools ahead of Pacific after 54 holes.
An impressive showing by the Pacific lineup was spearheaded by the pair of six-under pars from sophomore Felix Bouchard and redshirt junior Deitrek Gill.
Bouchard and Gill each recorded a one-under par on the final day of competition, standing in a tie for 15th place individually. Bouchard was the lone Tiger to record an eagle, earning a two on a par four on hole 15.
Senior Travis Robbie made the most of his third round, carding a Pacific-best five-under par in the final 18 holes for. Robbie capped the Palouse Collegiate with a four-under par.
Senior Ian Fritz was tied with Robbie as the fourth counted score for the Tigers. Fritz and Robbie just placed above the top 25 coming in at a tie for 24th.
Rounding out the Pacific lineup, senior Timothy Jung finished with a two-over par in a tie for 44th place. Sophomore Josh Stuart competed as an individual, moving up three spots with a three-under par on Wednesday.
The Tigers’ third-place finish is six spots better than the team accomplished in the same tournament during the 2024-25 campaign.
Pacific will remain in the state of Washington for its next competition, prepping for The Tindal, hosted by the University of Washington from Monday, Sept. 22 to Tuesday, Sept. 23.
